well, eventually, thorns will make his way there, later like he said; there are only so many people who are allowed to man the helm, which means the shifts on it tend to be much longer than the other jobs around the shift.

thorns doesn't walk any closer at first, instead just looking at elysium. he's obviously awake, although thorns isn't sure of what level of awake and alertness that he's at. he waits a few extra seconds before walking the rest of the way over. ]
