but thorns will get comfy and close his eyes. whether or not he easily falls asleep is another thing entirely, but this is nice. he wonders why they didn't do this earlier, even though there are countless reasons why they would not. ]

anyway. as much as i would like to say it's a peaceful night and one of the best elysium's ever had, it doesn't change the fact that they're both sick. so, even if he does manage to fall asleep eventually with warm and fluffy feelings in his chest (that may be as literal as it is figurative), he jolts awake an hour later; life is hard.
