If you keep paving the way forward like you always have, you're right on track for it. If you overthink it, you'll end up paralysed and frozen right in place.
As incredible as Amiya is, she hasn't been alone. She's had plenty of support around her, hasn't she? And you do, too. Knowing your mistakes won't be yours alone is a heavy pressure, but that doesn't have to be the only perspective. For better and for worse, it means the burden can be shared as well.

[ thorns wanders off to mediate a dispute between some crew members; one has accused the other of theft, and they of course are denying doing anything. it was about to come to blows when someone ran off to get thorns to intervene.

No, since it's not like he was trying to frame the other one. But I did say if anyone makes any false accusations like that in the future then they'd definitely be trouble.
Yeah, you do have to put your foot down at some point…
[ rubs circles… ]
I spent most of the time trying to understand the system you're using to keep track of everything. There were a few things I wanted to talk to you about, actually, before going any further with it—so I figured I'd walk it off until you seemed free.

I'd say it's both a good and bad thing it's getting around. They know what it means to get the captain involved. Did you know you're more diplomatic than the Señora?

Have you made anything fun in your lab recently? I'm talking a true Thorns-exclusive. It should be concoction no one else besides you would ever be able to make. The ones you use on people when they're being annoying!
