[ thorns feels like a senior citizen who will wander off if he takes his eyes off of him for a second. he feels his blood pressure rise but reminds himself to breathe. ]

[ he drinks like half the bottle in one gulp... ]

[ his exact thought1!!!! he brightens. that's how they end up with a dozen skewers, thorns carrying the drinks since elysium can only manage so much. he leads them away from the cart to give them a little more space, takes one skewer, blows on it, and happily bites off a piece of meat and vegetable before holding it toward thorns' mouth.

Not bad for an impulse decision. [ hmm ] I think they're better than what we had at the bar, even.

Well, everyone who orders food there is probably drunk, so they don't have to worry about how good it is.

[ people's expectations drop considerably when they are deeply wasted.

[ tastes are subjective… it's ok… everyone else seems to be enjoying theirs so they probably aren't thinking too much about thorns being his dramatic little self.

[ thorns has been off ever since they left the bar. the consequence of romance never being a priority for his baby thorns is that it's never the first place elysium's mind goes with him, either. but it doesn't mean he can't put one and one together…
