[ yes… he is here to enrich thorns' life in every way. if he adds to his stressors? then he's a failure.
so he will just collapse onto his mound so he can further contemplate fixing this in the morning. the great cuna de nene potato crisis of 19xx. gooby. ]
[ thorns probably wakes up earlier, if only by virtue of how long elysium has gone without sleeping…
the next morning is a decent indicator of just how much work elysium has been doing through the night. things haven't quite blown up since there's only so much one man can do, but there is a certain frenetic energy hanging in the air over things that should've been done not being done.
people are wondering if the ghost is upset over the potatoes. ]
well, thorns needs to take note of this. on one hand it's nice that elysium does so much but on the other he is truly ruining his sleep schedule this way. perhaps they need to put a stop to the ghost adventures soon...
but he will leave breakfast for elysium on the desk as he hurries off to do his job. ]
[ he gets a normal amount of sleep… he just gets them at the wrong times… and by that, his sleep crimes are no worse than thorns'. still, it takes him until late afternoon to wake up, so depending on what thorns has left out for him it may be cold.

he's right it isn't and no one is insane enough to just barge into the captain's room unless it's an actual emergency, so the knocking eventually stops and footsteps walk off. ]
but no, evidence of what he's been up to is pretty much everywhere. he's back to working on inventory after applying everything he'd and thorns talked about. overall, he's managed to be productive even after being cooped up… amazing what a little sleep will do for you. ]
What did they even need you for that they went straight to your room?
If they thought I was friends with the ghost they would never leave me alone again.
[ they would constantly go to thorns and ask him to commune with the spirit, he can picture it so well. he may have become more open to getting to know people but he still has limits. ]
... They just didn't agree on where we're going next. He wanted to convince me on a place.
I'm pretty sure they already think you're in cahoots with it, given how you told them about the potatoes. I'm honestly surprised they haven't accused you of conspiring with me. Or decided you were the ghost yourself. Your Corazonix is flexible.
[ he lifts a brow as he starts tidying the area. one book is left open, the culmination of today's work neatly bookmarked before he presses it into thorns' hands. ]
But what was the decision? Or are you still thinking about it?

… he lets himself go slack against thorns. ]
They won't go bad. Promise.

I'll make you breakfast again. Eat it this time.

[ is that what the problem is.....
he gets them to his quarters, and he'll push elysium inside, closing the door after them both. ]

turns will tuck him in more properly once elysium starts snoozing. ]
You're really a handful.
[ and then he will go and get some work done at his desk before he tucks into bed as well. ]
