the reason that thorns hadn't done anything about this guy is that he did not remember it's the same one from the visions of another life. is this his fault for not paying close enough attention to other people? perhaps. he was so focused on keeping an eye on elysium it did not occur to him to keep an eye on anyone else...

he watches the interaction. unfortunately for the guy, thorns is still standing very close to elysium so he is going to have to try hitting on him like this. ]

either way, it is probably uncomfortable enough that he asks if elysium minds stepping away to talk to him about something. elysium remembers him as someone he's seen and helped on occasion the times he's been aboard la conquista, so he has no reason to say no or have his guard up…

still, for whatever reason, he looks over to thorns like he's asking for permission. it feels like the right thing to do!
